This FAPAR image shows the vegetation index of the Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico as well as Belize, Guatemala, and parts of El Salvador and Honduras.

The peninsula shows a vegetation index ranging from good (green) to high (rusty red). The lowest vegetation index (yellow) can be observed near the southern coast by the Sierra Madre Mountains.
