This FAPAR image shows the vegetation index along the western coast of Mexico. The index along the coastal plains is generally good (green), with some small patches of high activity (rusty red).

The rest of the terrain further inland and on the southern part of the Baja California peninsula (left), however, shows very low photosynthetic activity (yellow to white).
