This FAPAR image of Mexico stretches across theĀ  country from the Gulf of Mexico (above) to the Pacific Ocean (below).

The areas near the shorelines are greener, indicating a good level of photosynthetic activity, in contrast with the yellow areas of low activity further inland.

Some patches of red, or high activity, can be observed towards the Gulf of Mexico coast, indicating a higher vegetation index than on the Pacific side.
