This FAPAR image shows the vegetation index of various islands  and countries in the Caribbean Sea. The Bahamas (upper left quadrant)  and the Turks and Caicos (right, center) show the lowest index, appearing yellow to light green.

Cuba (left), Haiti (right) and Jamaica (bottom) have higher indices, ranging from good (green) to high (rusty red). The western end of Cuba has a higher index than the eastern end, while Jamaica’s index is mixed throughout and Haiti’s is mostly uniform.
