Track of Area of Low Pressure

A trough of low pressure extending from near the southeastern Bahamas northward over the western Atlantic for a couple hundred miles is producing disorganized cloudiness and showers. Upper-level winds are forecast to become less conducive for development during the next day or two as the disturbance moves west-northwestward at about 10 mph. This system has a low chance (10 percent) of becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours.
