Area of Low Pressure

Shower and thunderstorm activity associated with a trough of low pressure located along the coast of Mexico has diminished this afternoon. Development of this system appears unlikely due to the proximity to land. This system has a low chance of becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours as it moves west-northwestward at around 10 mph.
