As of 8 p.m. AST October 29th (0000 UTC October 30th), Tropical Storm Shary (20L) was located within 20 nautical miles of 31.2°N 64.4°W, about 80 mi (130 km) south-southeast of Bermuda. The system is moving northeast at 14 kt (16 mph, 26 km/h).

Maximum sustained winds are 60 knots (70 mph, 110 km/h), with stronger gusts. Tropical storm force winds extend outward up to 85 miles (140 km) from the center of Shary. Minimum central pressure is 993 mbar (hPa; 29.32 InHg).
