As of 11 p.m. AST October 1 (0300 UTC October 2),  Tropical Storm Nadine (14L) is located within 20 nautical miles of 34.7°N 38.9°W, about 700 mi (1125 km) west-southwest of the Azores.

Maximum sustained winds are 55 knots (65 mph, 100 km/h), with stronger gusts. Minimum central pressure is 995 mbar (hPa; 29.38 InHg), and the system is moving southeast at 5 kt (6 mph, 9 km/h). Tropical storm force winds up to 115 miles (185 km) from the center.
