As of 8 a.m. PDT (0900 UTC) September 26, Tropical Storm Miriam (13E) is located within 15 nautical miles of 20.0°N 115.7°W, about 425 mi (680 km) southwest of the southern tip of Baja California.

Maximum sustained winds are 55 knots (65 mph, 100 km/h), with stronger gusts. Minimum central pressure is 992 mbar (hPa; 29.29 InHg), and the system is moving NW at 5 kt (6 mph, 9 km/h). Hurricane force winds extend outward up to 30 mi (45 km) from the center, and tropical storm force winds extend outward up to 125 mi (205 km) from the center of Miriam.
