As of 11 p.m. AST September 3 (0300 UTC September 4), Tropical Storm Leslie (12L)  is located within 30 nautical miles of 24.0°N 63.1°W, about 485 mi (780 km) north of the Leeward Islands and about 585 mi (940 km) south of Bermuda.

Maximum sustained winds are 55 knots (65 mph, 100 km/h), with stronger gusts. Minimum central pressure is 998 mbar (hPa; 29.47 InHg), and the system is stationary. Tropical storm force winds extend outward up to 205 miles (330 km) from the center of Leslie.
