As of 11 p.m. AST September 4 (0300 UTC September 5), Tropical Storm Leslie (12L)  is located within 30 nautical miles of 25.2°N 62.8°W, about 505 mi (815 km) south of Bermuda.

Maximum sustained winds are 55 knots (65 mph, 100 km/h), with stronger gusts. Minimum central pressure is 994 mbar (hPa; 29.35 InHg), and the system is moving slowly to the north-northwest at 1.7 knots (2 mph, 4 km/h). Tropical storm force winds extend outward up to 230 miles (370 km) from the center of Leslie.
