As of 8 a.m. AST (1200 UTC) September 18, Tropical Storm Nadine (14L) is located within 20 nautical miles of 34.5°N 33.3°W, about 425 mi (685 km) west-southwest of The Azores.

Maximum sustained winds are 50 knots (60 mph, 95 km/h), with stronger gusts. Minimum central pressure is 990 mbar (hPa; 29.23 InHg), and the system is moving northeast at 7 kt (8 mph, 13 km/h). Tropical storm force winds extend up to 195 miles (315 km) from the center of Nadine.
