Track of TY 10W

Typhoon Nock-Ten (10W), located approximately 90 nm northeast of Manila, Philippines, has tracked northwestward at 06 knots over the past six hours. Maximum significant wave height is 13 feet.

The system has rapidly intensified over the past 24 hours (35 to 65 knots) and has developed a small, ragged eye. It was upgraded to typhoon intensity based on the eye and Dvorak estimates of 65 knots. The full and enhanced images show the system 48 hours ago, before its intensification. The animated imagery, on the other hand, shows a more recent view of the typhoon.
