As of 11 p.m. AST September 16 (0300 UTC September 17), Hurricane Nadine is located within 30 nautical miles of 31.4°N 38.1°W, about 775 mi (1250 km) west-southwest of The Azores.

Maximum sustained winds are 65 knots (75 mph, 120 km/h), with stronger gusts. Minimum central pressure is 987 mbar (hPa; 29.09 InHg), and the system is moving east at 16 kt (18 mph, 30 km/h). Tropical storm force winds extend up to 185 miles (295 km) from the center of Nadine.
