Australia - May 23rd, 2011

The long stretch of white sand extending into turquoise water along the northwestern coast of Australia is the aptly named Eighty Mile Beach, half way between Broome and Port Hedland.

Further down the coast, tan sediments pour into the waters of the Indian Ocean. Near the top of the image, some coral reefs can be seen.
