Toulouse and the Forest of Bouconne, North of the Pyrenees in France43.6N 1.4E
The Pyrenees Mountains mark the border between France (above) and Spain (below). Here, at the end of summer, little snow is visible on the peaks and there are few clouds.
In French territory on the left, green lines fan outwards from the foot of the Pyrenees. These are rows of hills interspersed by agricultural areas. To the right, near the top, a dark green area stands out among the surrounding golden fields. This is the Forest of Bouconne, near the city of Toulouse, appearing as a greyish area east of the woods.
