Southeast Coast of Ireland
The Comeragh Mountains are a glaciated mountain range in County Waterford formed by twelve peaks, the highest of which is Fauscoum at 792m (2,598ft).
The Knockmealdown Mountains are located on the border of Counties Tipperary and Waterford. The highest peak of the range is Knockmealdown.
Finally, the Galtee Mountains (or Galty Mountains) are a mountain range in Munster, across parts of counties Limerick, Tipperary and Cork.
The Galtees are Ireland’s highest inland mountain range, taking the form of a high ridge which rises up almost sheer from the surrounding plain. The highest peak in the Galtees is that of Galtymore which rises to 917 m (3,009 ft).
