December 25th, 2010 Category: Snapshots

Canada - December 23rd, 2010

Snow covers the Canadian terrain along the shores of James Bay. The land west of the bay belongs to the province of Ontario, while that to the east is part of Quebec.

Some ice can be seen in the bay, which is part of the larger Hudson Bay. Also covered in snow is Akimiski Island, near the western shores of the bay.
