Ocean currents off the coast of Baja California, Mexico
The radar (ASAR) image makes visible two types of water movement off the coast of Baja California, Mexico, which cannot usually be seen with normal color images: river and ocean currents.
On the right, the outflow from several river mouths in the Sebastián Vizcaíno Bay can been seen pouring into the Pacific Ocean.
On the left, ocean currents further offshore are visible. Their bright white color indicates a lot of movement.
Some waves are present at the bottom left.
