Cuba - May 18th, 2011

Various bodies of water can be seen parallel to the Atlantic Ocean by the northern coast of Cuba. By the right edge of the image is the large Bay of Nipe (Bahía de Nipe), connected to the ocean via Christ Cove (Ensenada de Cristo).

Moving northwestward along the coast, channels such as the Nicholas Channel and the Old Bahama Channel can be observed between the mainland coast and the Sabana-Camagüey Archipelago.
