This orthorectified image focuses on an area of the Mexican state of Sonora, near the Gulf of California. Offshore, a small island called Isla San Pedro Nolasco can be seen admist the swirling currents of the gulf.
Inland, flat agricultural areas can be seen on the left side of the image, while the right side contains some hills and plateaus reaching heights of up to 600 meters. These are part of the foothills of the Sierra Madre Occidental.
