London and Sediments from the River Thames, United Kingdom

51.5N 0.1W

May 9th, 2011 Category: Rivers, Sediments

United Kingdom - May 2nd, 2011

The River Thames meanders its way through London, visible as a large grey area in the lower left quadrant, flows through the Thames Estuary, and into the North Sea.

Dense sediments carried by the river line the shores of the estuary and flow out into the sea, gradually appearing greener in color as they disperse.
