Tres Fronteras and Two Rivers
Tres Fronteras (Três Fronteiras in Portuguese) is the Spanish name for an area of the Amazon Rainforest where the three nations of Brazil, Peru, and Colombia meet.
The wider river above is the Amazon; the more narrow, winding one below is the Javary River, a tributary of the Amazon. The Amazon marks the border between Colombia (top) and Brazil (middle), while the Javary is the boundary between Brazil and Peru (bottom).
The three cities Tabatinga, Leticia, and Santa Rosa are located in this part of the world, noted for its natural beauty.
