Japan - December 20th, 2010

The Tone River reaches from its source on Mount Ōminakami, gathering tributaries as it crosses Japan, to the Pacific Ocean at Choshi city in Chiba Prefecture. The Edo River branches away from the river and flows into Tokyo Bay.

Here, a stretch of the 322 kilometer (200 mi) long river can be seen flowing through a mostly urban area near the coast. The cities appear grey in color, while nearby mountains and hills and dark green.
