Canada - November 30th, 2010

This orthorectified image shows the Ottawa River passing in between the twin cities of Ottawa and Gatineau, Canada. Ottawa, the country’s capital, lies along the southern banks. Gatineau lies parallel to it along the northern banks.

The terrain in the upper part of the image becomes hillier as one moves northwards, while the terrain in the lower part of the image is flatter and mostly covered by fields. Various lakes can be seen across the terrain, particularly amidst the hills to the north in the full image.
