February 7th, 2011 Category: Rivers

Canada - February 1st, 2011

The Ottawa River flows across the middle of this orthorectified image of Canada. The river appears wider and darker to the west of the metropolitan area in the center, and thinner and lighter to the east.

The metropolitan area includes the cities of Ottawa and Gatineau. Ottawa is situated on the southern banks of the river, while Gatineau is located just across from it, on the northern banks.
