Ottawa, Rideau and Gatineau Rivers, Canada

45.4N 75.6W

May 5th, 2011 Category: Rivers

Canada - April 29th, 2011

Several rivers can be observed near the twin cities of Ottawa and Gatineau in this image of Canada. The two are separated by the Ottawa River, with the former located along the southern banks and the latter along the northern banks.

Two other rivers can be seen flowing perpendicular to the Ottawa: the Gatineau River (above) and the Rideau River (below). While the Ottawa River appears as a thick, dark grey, V-shaped line, the other two rivers are significantly less wide.
