Meandering Rivers Across Russia’s Sakha Republic

The Lena River crosses over the upper right hand corner, flowing northward towards the Laptev Sea, a division of the Arctic Ocean.

Towards the bottom, several smaller rivers and streams wind their way east across the lands of the Sakha Republic, towards the Lena.

While these lowlands are clear, the land further north is still snow covered, highlighting the contours of the terrain.
