Argentina – August 21st, 2012

The green stain spreading northward and northeastward from the Valdes Peninsula, on the eastern coast of Argentine, is probably due to a mix of sediments and phytoplankton growth. Differences in color may be due to variations in concentration and species of the tiny organisms.
