Phytoplankton Parallel to Entire East Coast of Argentina

A green and blue phytoplankton bloom can be observed parallel to the coast of Argentina. In the full image, the full extent of the bloom, from the Province of Buenos Aires in the North to below the Falkland Islands / Islas Malvinas in the South, is visible.

Visible on the left side of the image are sediments near the city of Bahía Blanca (upper left quadrant) and the Valdes Peninsula (left center). The full image extends south to Ushuaia.
