This image focuses on the Atlantic Coast of Morocco, with the Canary Islands visible offshore. The ridges of the Atlas Mountains appear as dark brown areas, while large expanses of sandy Saharan Desert appear golden in color.

In the full image, the entire western coastline of Morocco can be observed, from the Strait of Gibraltar in the north, by Spain, to the Ras Nouadhibou Peninsula, divided between Morocco/Western Sahara (north) and Mauritania (south), by the Bay of Arguin.
