Pyrenees East of Bay of Biscay, France and Spain43.0N 1W
The main crest of the Pyrenees forms a massive divider between France (above) and Spain (below), with the tiny country of Andorra sandwiched in between. Here, the mountain peaks are covered in snow.
Although the Gulf of Lion is obscured by clouds (lower right), part of the Bay of Biscay can be observed to the upper left. Sandy beaches can be seen on the part belonging to France, while much of the Spanish coast appears rockier.
