Snow in Bulgaria and Romania by Black Sea43.5N 31.8E
The Black Sea occupies most of this image. It appears mostly dark blue in color, although some lighter blue sediments can be observed along its northern shores. Upon the full image, several rivers can be seen releasing tan sediments as well.
Also of note in the full image is the city of Istanbul situated in Turkey on both sides of the Bosphorus in the lower left quadrant. This strait connects the Black Sea to the Sea of Marmara.
The land along the western and northwestern shores of the Black Sea, in Bulgaria and Romania, is dusted with snow. The rest of the terrain around the lake is snow free, with the exception of the snow atop some mountain peaks.
