Sediments Along Argentine Shoreline Near Bahía Blanca

Argentina - November 30th, 2010

The golden and green sediments lining the coast of Argentina are being released by the Naposta Stream. The river flows past the city of Bahía Blanca and into the Atlantic Ocean.

The shoreline further south, by the Valdes Peninsula, is considerably clearer. To the west, between Bahía Blanca and the peninsula, are a series of artificial lakes clustered around the Neuquén (above) and Limay (below) Rivers.
