Greenish sediments line the shores of the Mediterranean by the Nile River Delta in Egypt. The city of Cairo and numerous smaller towns appear as greyish tan dots in the green triangular space of the delta.

To the south, the Faiyum Oasis and Lake Moeris are visible just to the left of the Nile River. Further south, Lake Nasser is mostly obscured by clouds, but the Toshka Lakes can be seen to the west of it.

Moving to the right of the delta, across the Sinai Peninsula and into the Middle East, one can see the Dead Sea, in Israel/Palestine. The lower half of the sea appears lighter and more green in color due to the network of salt evaporation pans known as the Dead Sea Dikes that were constructed there.
