This APM image shows Lake Tanganyika, a lake in central Africa that is shared by Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Burundi and Zambia.

Here, the northern shores belong to Tanzania. They are quite mountainous, with some peaks over 1400 meters in height. The lower shores visible in this image belong to Zambia. In the full image, a plateau can be seen at the lower right, where the altitude drops from 1600 meters down to the lake surface.
