Several rivers can be seen here, flowing towards the coast of Vietnam. The area appears rather hazy due to smoke from hundreds of fires burning across Southeast Asia at the time the image was taken.

Upon opening the full image, the Ho Phu Ninh Lake is visible towards the center of the coastline. It was created by a dam located in Dai Tam, Phu Ninh. The lake is quite large, with a surface area of 3433 ha. Its waters are used for the irrigation of 23,000 hectares of rice crops.
