Australia - January 24th, 2011

Sun glint highlights the rivers flowing into King Sound, in northern Western Australia, giving them a silvery-white glow. The Fitzroy, Lennard, Meda, Robinson and May Rivers all flow into the sound.

Here, the most salient of these rivers is the Fitzroy, sweeping across the lower half of the image in a curved shape. Further north, the Meda and Lennard Rivers can be seen converging before flowing into the sound.
