The city of Tokyo appears as a large greyish tan area extending inland from Tokyo Bay on the Pacific Coast of the island of Honshu, Japan. Several rivers including the Tone and the Edo can be seen passing through the metropolis, standing out as dark blue lines.

The hilly and mountainous areas further inland are bright green, although a few peaks remain capped with snow despite the summer heat. One such snow tipped summit is that of Mount Fuji, whose base is ringed by clouds in the lower left quadrant.
