Dust Over Red Sea - March 18th, 2012

A large dust storm covers part of Saudi Arabia and blows plumes of dust and sand westward, over the Red Sea, towards Egypt and Sudan. Visible parallel to the dust storm, on the left side of the image, is the Nile River, flowing north across Sudan, through Lake Nasser on the Sudan-Egypt border, and to the vegetated, fan-shaped Nile Delta on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea.
