Libya - May 21st, 2012

Dust blows off the coast of Libya, over the Gulf of Sidra, between the promontory of Boreum (now Ras Teyonas) to the East and the promontory of Cephalae (Ras Kasr Hamet) to the West. Here, air currents create a wavelike effect in the plumes of dust, and changes in wind direction create crisscross patterns.
