Smoke Over the Bohai Sea, China – January 29th, 201139.2N 119.7E
Some grey smoke can be seen spreading over the Bohai Sea from the left edge of this image. Tan tan color in the sea further eastward, near the bottom edge, is caused by sediments.
The white areas along the shores of the sea, particularly to the north, are due to the formation of ice. Many cracks and individual ice floes can be observed in the full image.
