Smoke over Pakistan Coast – November 19th, 201023.8N 62.9E
Smoke billowing from fires below the Himalayas in India blows southwestward over Pakistan. Some of the Indus River Valley is partially visible below the smoke, in the top right corner.
The smoke reaches over the Arabian Sea and to the coast of Oman (left), though it does not affect visibility in the country further inland. Iran, Pakistan’s neighbor to the west, is also unaffected.
