Smoke Over Eastern China by Yellow Sea

31.2N 120.5E

April 18th, 2011 Category: Fires, Sediments

China - April 10th, 2011

Smoke from fires in China creates a thick haze over the eastern part of the country that spreads out over the Yellow Sea.

Visible below the veil of smoke are dense sediments from rivers such as the Yangtze. Various towns and cities also appear as tan dots across the landscape.
