Smoke from Fires in China - November 3rd, 2010

The upper right quadrant of this image appears hazy due to smoke from fires burning in Eastern China, across the North China Plain. Upon opening the full image, this cloud of smoke can be seen further northward as well.

The body of water partially visible along the right edge is the Yellow Sea. Fittingly, yellowish sediments line the shores. Further inland, multiple ridges of hills and mountains can be observed to the west.
