Several fires can be seen on the right half of this image, in Australia’s Northern Territory, just east of the border with Western Australia, and southeast of the Joseph Bonaparte Gulf (top center). The gulf is filled with tan sediments. Visible to its south is another, smaller body of water: Lake Argyle.
