Plumes of smoke from wildfires burning in southern-central Queensland, Australia, blow mostly towards the north. A cluster of blazes can be seen southeast of Broad Sound (filled with sediments in the upper part of the image), in the lower right quadrant. A second cluster can be observed in the lower left quadrant, in an apparently forested terrain.
