Australia – November 10th, 2012

Fires in southern South Australia, near the border with Western Australia (left) release plumes of smoke that blow in a generally southerly direction. The plume from the fire closest to the shoreline blows over the Great Australian Bight. Two other large bodies of water can be observed to the east in the full image: Spencer Gulf and Gulf St Vincent.
