Fires in China - October 16th, 2010

Smoke from fires burning in Eastern China, across the North China Plain, are still releasing thick clouds of smoke that  blow across the Yellow Sea, towards the Korean Peninsula.

These fires are probably agricultural, due to their points of origin on the plain, an extensive farming area. They have been burning and creating a thick haze over eastern China for over a week.
