Brazil - June 26th, 2010

Plumes of smoke blow southward from fires in Paraguay and Brazil, near the border with Bolivia. The two fires to the left are situated in Paraguay. They are probably agricultural, as many rectangular fields can be seen nearby.

The fire to the right is located just across the border in Brazil. It is the largest of the plumes; in the full image one can see that it is actually composed of several fires clustered together.
